Hi everyone.  My name is Kyle and this is my blog.  As I mentioned in one of my first real posts, I spent the majority of my career designing cell phones for a well known technology firm (Hello Moto!).

Having left Motorola with a strong desire to reinvent and reinvigorate myself, I am now focused more on the field of digital marketing and less on engineering.

I now spend most of my time researching topics such as:

• Content Marketing
• Web Analytics
• Social Media
• SEO

Since I’m trying to immerse myself in the online world, creating this blog was an important first step.

Because of my electrical engineering background (you can’t spell GEEK without EE!), some would say that I’m starting off my blogging career with a big handicap (see #14 of this list).  While there is probably some truth to this assertion, it doesn’t bother me.  It’s good to know your limitations as you try to take on new challenges.

Besides, nothing worth doing is ever easy, right?
